Jason’s passion for serving our Brothers & Sisters both Inside & Outside the Walls lead him to began Serving as a mentor in 2015 at the Eastham Unit. In 2016 he added the Byrd Unit & shortly thereafter took on his First Unit Volunteer Coordinator Role.

Jason has worked side by side with Kairos/Jubilee Teams, Bill Glass Ministries, Mike Barber Ministries, Bridges to Life (at Plane State Women’s Unit), the H.O.N.O.R Mentoring Program for Incarcerated Veterans, & the Prison Entrepreneur Program (at Cleveland Unit) as a Volunteer Business Plan Advisor.

His passion for Second Chance Legislation lead him to becoming a Justice Advocacy Ambassador for Prison Fellowship where he petitions legislators for change & better opportunities for those in Reentry. 

Jason Founded the Prison Ministry Program at Woodland’s Church & C.R.J.M.A’s First Women’s Mentoring Program at the Henley State Jail in 2019. Jason has Served as a Mentor at Ferguson Unit, the Prison Fellowship lead Mentor Program at Carol Vance Unit. He has been the Unit Coordinator for the Wynne Unit since 2018. In 2021 he took on the Pack Unit Trustee Camp Program & is the New Coordinator at the Huntsville Walls Unit in 2021.

Jason Worships at Hope City Church in Houston, Texas where he is a Leader in the Prison Ministry Program partnering with Transitional Facilities like the “C.H.A.R.M House” Bible Study Ministry, 7More Ministries, & leading Clothing/Hygiene Kit Collections for the Indigent. Jason is employed Full time at Cornerstone Building Brands where he works as a Sr. Project Planner.
