Todd Shoemake is Chairman of Christian Restorative Justice Mentors Association (CRJMA).

A native Texan, Todd graduated from Lamar University where he earned a B.B.A in Accounting. Todd has also served as the CFO and advisor to two non-profit organizations in the Houston area. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Texas Society of CPA’s.

In 2011, Todd started as a volunteer mentor at the Eastham Unit in Lovelady Texas where he served for several years working consecutively with several inmates that eventually transitioned to the free world. In 2014, Todd was recruited by Murray Batt to join the Board of Trustees of CRJMA and serve as the organization’s Chief Financial Officer. During this time, Todd continued to serve as a mentor at the Wynn Unit and eventually took on the responsibility as a Unit Coordinator at the Ferguson Unit up until TDCJ shut down all volunteer programs in the units due to COVID.

Post COVID, 2022, Todd will continue to serve as Chairman of CRJMA and begin mentoring again at the Walls Unit. Todd’s goal for CRJMA is to support mentoring programs in all State Prison Facilities across Texas.

Todd has been married to his wife Kim for 36 years. They have two daughters and three grandchildren. Todd enjoys playing golf and fishing when time allows. Todd’s favorite scripture is Proverbs 3:5-6.
